not too much to say in this entry. Today we visited the university, went to the US embassy, and had dinner at the home of a local Omani.  The home was beautiful and elaborately decorated!  It was much bigger than most western homes, but it was a typical home for the middle class.  These are pictures from last night and yesterday. that's the Indian ocean.  I will write more as I have the internet more readily available, as it is I rely on a cafe that has very slow service.
